Artwork Upload Guide

This section of the site covers some hints and tips on ensuring your artwork reaches us in the best way possible.

Preferred artwork formats:
- Illustrator EPS
- Adobe PDF

Other formats accepted (but not preferred):
- Quark Xpress
- Adobe Photoshop

Scale:
To preserve file sizes it?s best to supply artwork scaled down to 25% actual size. However artwork supplied at 100% or 50% is acceptable.

Fonts:
Where possible all fonts should be converted to outlines. Where not possible all fonts should be either embedded or supplied.

Images:
All images should be in CMYK colour mode and flattened. Web or low resolution images (72dpi) can cause unwanted pixelation when enlarged therefore we recommend that images used in the artwork be of the highest quality, at least 300dpi in artwork at 25% actual size.

Colour:
Please work in CMYK colour mode as RGB colours will be converted to CMYK before printing and may print differently to the RGB colours you see on screen. Pantone® colours will be matched to their closest CMYK equivalents.

We endeavor to check all artwork files before printing however we cannot take responsibility for any errors in supplied artwork.

Getting your artwork to us

There are a whole host of ways you can get your artwork to us - below are the most common.

Email
Just email us your artwork. We are able to accept emails up to 20mb at a time - just send them to info@damngood.co.uk

YouSendIt.com
This great site allows you to send large files to any email address. Just upload your file and be sure to set info@damngood.co.uk as the recipient.

Physical Media
Who said snail mail was dead! Just pop your CD/Floppy Disc/USB Drive/Zip Disk in the post to us - our address in on the contact us page. Be sure to wrap it well and make sure you don't send us your only copy

FTP Server
If your files are huge but you don't have time to post them, we can set up a secure FTP link - contact us for details
