After a 16 month industry break following Covid, Damn Good were proud to be involved in one of the first live in-person events in the UK since the Covid pandemic started. Selected to support McCann Manchester, Aldi UK and Team GB in their preparations for the (rescheduled) 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics. Staged over a three-week period from 7-30 June ’21, our stand welcomed Team GB athletes, officials and support staff to the essential ‘Kitting Out’ experience. An experience whereby athletes were invited to walk the seamless process of fitting and collecting their complete ‘One Team One Dream’ kit and accessories. Utilising our Covid safe in-house pre-build facility in Milton Keynes, we perfected our build method, tweaked the finish, obtained remote client sign off and ensured everything was tip-top before leaving for site. Post Olympics we are able to look back, enjoy, and reflect on our own contribution, performance and creativity to the Olympic teams preparations which saw them achieving outstanding results – an amazing 22 gold medals and 65 medals across the board.
